Introducing 🥁🥁🥁 the Thriving in Motherhood Collective
From the beginning, I knew I wanted The Society of Working Moms to be a place where moms in the thick of it could connect — to other moms, and to resources.
Inside the coaching channel, members find both.
Jess expertly facilitates weekly conversations around topics ranging from having more meaningful conversations to cultivating confidence to tuning out social media noise, equipping us with the self-coaching tools we need to thrive in our daily lives.
So I’m super excited to announce that Jess will be launching a new cohort coaching experience within The Society of Working Moms — The Thriving In Motherhood Collective. The group kicks off on Tuesday, Sept. 3.
In addition to the many benefits of the 6-week cohort, members get an additional 6 months inside the Society of Working Moms Slack community!

Links followed by a ‘🔒️’ are links to the WM Slack community.
You can apply at www.working-moms.com/apply.
If you’d like to re-up or manage your membership, you can do so at this link. (If you’re a returning member, please forward me your confirmation email and I’ll reactivate your Slack access.)
🌐COMMUNITY NOTES🌐
Welcome to our newest members: Amanda, Mackenzie, Kate, Cassy and Erin! 👋
Our monthly workshops are lined up through February! Weigh in🔒️ on future topics and vote via emoji poll on speaker demographics!
Another emoji poll for those of you in the biz-owners channel… vote on a time for our first-ever consultants call!🔒️
Today’s coaching conversation is all about optimism. Tune in soon (12 CT!) in #coaching-convos!🔒️
We had a LOVELY author chat with Annie Lyons last Thursday to discuss The Brilliant Life of Eudora Honeysett.
If you know of another book club that likes to host authors, I couldn’t recommend an Annie Lyons book enough! Her books are quite charming, and she is equally so! (And hint: she does author chats for free 🎁 as long as there are no ticket sales!)
ICYMI, our August pick for the low-stakes book club is How to Keep House While Drowning, a quick read/listen about managing care tasks when you are neurodivergent/grieving/depressed/chronically ill/ETC.
We will almost certainly NOT have an author chat this time around (unless someone has a connection to KC Davis and can make an intro! 😏) but join the chat in Slack🔒️!
Thanks for everyone’s patience while we restructured Slack last week. Here is a new, handy-dandy channel guide to help you on your way!
We also gave the website a slight refresh over the weekend! What do you think? For those of you already in Slack, does it sum it all up accurately? For those of you not, what questions do you still have? 🤔
