👨👩👧👧 Kids: a 24-month-old son (Maynard) and a 20-week-old daughter (Freya)
📍 Location: small-town Central Texas.
💗 Favorite thing about WM: The broadness of it. As mothers (and especially working mothers) we are dealing with so much - the scope of our responsibilities is infinite. As such, it only makes sense that the potential for support is also infinite. I love that WM makes it possible to connect with others from varied backgrounds and in every stage of motherhood to solve a problem based on collective experience.
😋 Favorite Food: Crawfish! I'm a Cajun gal, raised in NOLA. There is nothing better than a crawfish boil.
🎥 Favorite Movie: Catch Me if You Can
🐶 Pets: One blue healer/Australian shepherd mix named Suma (11yo) and working on hubby to adopt a neighborhood stray that keeps coming around
💪 Recent Win: I gave birth to my daughter in January and had a natural birth (although that wasn't originally my plan)! Long story short, we live about 1.5 hours from my delivering hospital. My water broke 10 minutes out from the hospital, we barely made it up to triage, and my daughter was born within 5 minutes of arriving, after just a single push. I felt SO empowered after this experience and am absolutely astounded by what women can do.
🌊 Favorite Way to Relax: laying in the sand at the beach, listening to the waves with my eyes closed (I should find a way to make this happen more often)...
